What We Stand For

Mission

Clarity is brought to complex situations in which behavior, responsibility, and collaboration are central. With psychological expertise, people and organizations are supported in understanding behavior, structuring considerations, and strengthening professional conduct.

Vision

Sustainable development is believed to arise when people gain insight into themselves, their context, and their impact on others. Psychology provides direction and support to act carefully, effectively, and responsibly, even under pressure.

Method

We combine psychological depth with a practical approach. Every assignment is tailored to the question, context, and desired outcome, with independence, cultural sensitivity, and actionable advice as guiding principles.

Decision Accountability Framework (DAF)

Clear considerations, traceable decisions

For complex professional decisions, Wichard Assessment & Development uses the Decision Accountability Framework (DAF). This internal decision-making framework supports professionals in clearly and transparently recording relevant facts, interests, uncertainties, and considerations.

DAF does not prescribe an outcome and does not replace existing rules, methods, or legal frameworks. It makes visible what was known at the time of the decision, which considerations were made, and how uncertainty was handled. As a result, decisions remain understandable, transferable, and open to evaluation later on.

DAF is particularly useful when:

  • a decision has consequences for others;

  • multiple interests or perspectives need to be weighed;

  • a decision must be made under time pressure or with incomplete information;

  • the decision needs to be explained, evaluated, or handed over at a later stage.

In this way, DAF contributes to careful professional accountability without taking over the professional room for judgment.
